The play deemed “Rocket” has propelled Michigan State into the top 10 of both the AP and Coaches poll and 11th in the BCS after Michigan State defeated Wisconsin 37-31 Saturday night from Spartan Stadium.
Michigan State emerged as the top Big Ten team ranking in at #9 in the AP Top 25 and #10 in the USA Today coaches poll. The Spartans were at #15 and #13 respectively a week ago.
Wisconsin on the other hand slipped to #12 in the AP poll and #11 in the USA Today poll. They also fell from #6 to #15 in the BCS standings.
Next weekend the Spartans take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers in a pivotal Big Ten Legends division matchup. Nebraska ranks in at #13 in both the AP and Coaches poll and come in at #14 in the BCS. Their only loss this season came to the same Wisconsin Badgers that MSU beat this weekend.
Michigan is ranked 17th in both polls and 18th in the BCS.
