NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III had to be restrained at a Florida State University track last Monday night after an altercation ensued between another runner and himself.
In a video obtained by TMZ Sports, RG3 can be seen going trying to get at another runner before eventually being brought back by his girlfriend Grate Sadeiko who is on the track team at Florida State.
However according to eyewitness accounts, RG3 wasn’t initially the aggressor. Witnesses say the NFL quarterback was sprinting on the track and accidentally bumped into the other runner who took exception.
Here’s Sadeiko’s account who told her side to TMZ:
We spoke with Sadeiko who told us, “The [other guy] got heated and got way too close to [Robert] but Robert didn’t touch the guy not once nor put his hands on him.”
She added, “The guy tried to approach him again while Robert was walking away. I went between so the guy wouldn’t do anything stupid and that was the end of it.”
Nothing else transpired from the incident as Griffin and the other guy eventually went their separate ways. The good news is this may be the most life RG3 has shown in years. Maybe it transcends to the football field.
