Sure Rob Gronkowski probably wasn’t ready to field retirement questions in the wake of the Patriots losing to the Eagles in Super Bowl LII but he did and his answers didn’t exactly put to rest the rumors that Gronk played in his last NFL game.

Given the state of concussions in the NFL it wouldn’t be surprising if one of the best tight ends in the NFL decided to call it a career. Not to mention we’ve seen players decide to go out on top and avoid spending their later years in agonizing pain. That’s even with Gronk’s nine receptions for 116 yards and two touchdowns tonight. He like Brady doesn’t really have anything else to prove in the NFL when it comes to being arguably the best offensive combination in League history.
