Sure Rob Gronkowski probably wasnโt ready to field retirement questions in the wake of the Patriots losing to the Eagles in Super Bowl LII but he did and his answers didnโt exactly put to rest the rumors that Gronk played in his last NFL game.

Given the state of concussions in the NFL it wouldnโt be surprising if one of the best tight ends in the NFL decided to call it a career. Not to mention weโve seen players decide to go out on top and avoid spending their later years in agonizing pain. Thatโs even with Gronkโs nine receptions for 116 yards and two touchdowns tonight. He like Brady doesnโt really have anything else to prove in the NFL when it comes to being arguably the best offensive combination in League history.
