Tight end Rob Gronkowski (and perhaps the biggest piece of the offensive puzzle for New England outside of Tom Brady) will make his season debut for the Patriots today when they take on the New York Jets.
Head coach Bill Belichick made the final call on Gronk ending speculation surrounding the tight end after being out for the previous six weeks dealing with offseason back and forearm surgeries.
The Patriots have already gone 5-1 to start the season but have unable to get in an offensive rhythm without Gronkowski. So it will definitely be interesting to see what kind of impact he has on the team in his return.
