The Redskins dodged a bullet Sunday afternoon as franchise rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III went down with a pretty scary knee injury.
RGIII suffered the injury late in the game against the Baltimore Ravens as the rookie quarterback was scrambling before being taken out by Ravens defensive tackle Haloti Ngata. During the replay you can clearly see Griffin’s knee violently jerk itself back in an awkward position as both players fell to the ground.
The Redskins then turned to rookie Kirk Cousins who helped seal a Washington victory in OT 31-28.
After the game Washington got some good news as MRI results found no ligament damage to Griffin’s knee and are officially calling it a sprain.
Your positive vibes and prayers worked people!!!!To God be the Glory!
