So that COVID-19 pandemic which Donald Trump has said we’re “rounding the corner” on continues to not only ravage the country but college football as well.
Thursday night reports have surfaced that Clemson quarterback and the presumed No. 1 pick in next year’s NFL Draft Trevor Lawrence has tested positive for the virus ahead of the Tigers’ game against Boston College on Saturday.
It’s assumed that Lawrence will be a no-go for the weekend if he is in fact positive and his test wasn’t a false positive which I’m sure Clemson will be looking to confirm. That is of course if the best player in the country isn’t already showing symptoms something that hasn’t been confirmed.
UPDATE (10:31 pm EST): Trevor Lawrence confirms he has tested positive for COVID-19 and that he’s experiencing “mild symptoms”. He will also be out this Saturday against Boston College.
