Less than a month after the firing of Bobby Valentine, it looks as though the Red Sox have found his replacement.
According to Sean McAdam of CSNNE.com, the Red Sox have reportedly hired their former pitching coach John Farrell as their new manager.

Farrell however is still under contract with the Toronto Blue Jays where as a manager has accumulated a 154-170 record. It’s not clear at this point what type of compensation will be going Toronto’s way.
Like Sean McAdam states, an official announcement should be coming soon.
UPDATE: The Red Sox will send SS Mike Aviles to Toronto for manager John Farrell.
