The Kansas City Star writes that when Belcher shot his girlfriend, the girlfriends mother reportedly witnessed the shooting before Belcher got in his car and drove to Arrowhead.
Belcher originally joined the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Maine quickly becoming a starter in his rookie season. In ten games started this season Belcher had 38 tackles and led a pretty quiet life off the field.
The Chiefs are scheduled to take on the Carolina Panthers at Arrowhead tomorrow at 1PM ET. So far the NFL has informed to the Panthers to board their charter flight to Kansas City.
