The Wings got their roster down to 39 players today assigning 15 players to their AHL affiliate Grand Rapids.
These players include…
forwards Louis-Marc Aubry, Mitchell Callahan, Willie Coetzee, Adam Estoclet, Jamie Johnson, Andrej Nestrasil, Nick Oslund, Francis Pare, Trevor Parkes and Brent Raedeke; defensemen Greg Amadio, Gleason Fournier, Sebastien Piche and Bryan Rufenach; and goaltender Thomas McCollum.
In addition to these assignments, the Wings also gave goaltender Ramis Sadikov his unconditional release. He is expected to rejoin his junior club, the Erie Otters of the OHL.
Overall no big names were released or assigned as the Wings progress towards the regular season.
