Underneath it all, the Rams must really hate Los Angeles.
That’s all I can assume after the team signed head coach Jeff Fisher to a two-year extension after it was widely rumored he was on the hot seat after a 4-7 start. Not only that though, the Rams also signed general manager Les Snead to an extension as well.
You can’t make this shit up.
Jeff Fisher has signed extension, as @RapSheet reported. Deal done weeks ago. Rams GM Les Snead also signed extension, per sources.

Maybe the Rams are assuming there’s still some honeymoon period going on in LA and the fans will give these horrendous signings a pass?
However what’s truly amazing is the longevity a horrible coach like Fisher has had in the NFL. The guy has seriously been living on success he’s had almost a decade ago when he was the head coach of a Titans. Here’s a fun fact for everyone, the last time Jeff Fisher had a winning season was in 2008 when he guided Tennessee to a 13-3 record and lost to the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship Game.
Throughout his entire head coaching career (starting in 1994) Fisher has had a total of six winning seasons. SIX.
And what about that record with the Rams?
Since taking over in 2012, Fisher has boasted the Rams to a stellar 31-43 record and ZERO playoff appearances.
Not only does Jeff Fisher not deserve an extension, you can ask the serious question as to whether or not he should even be a head coach in the NFL?
