The Los Angeles Rams made their first big splash in the transaction pool since their move to the City of Angels.
According to various reports, the Rams acquired the first overall pick in this month’s draft from the Titans in a exchange for a haul of picks.
Going to the Rams is the first overall pick along with the Titans’ fourth and six-round picks this year. However going the other way to Tennessee is the Rams’ 15th overall pick, two second-round picks and a third-round pick this year. Additionally the Titans will also receive a first and third round pick from the Rams in next year’s draft.
Ultimately the Titans get a hell of an opportunity to rebuild through the draft while the Rams make the biggest jump in NFL draft history going from 15th to first overall.
UPDATE: The Rams are reportedly ‘targeting’ quarterback Carson Wentz with the first overall pick according to the LA Times.
