According to Vincent Goodwill of the Detroit News, the Detroit Pistons will offer point guard Rodney Stuckey a $3.8 million dollar qualifying offer this
Goodwill goes on to say that if a team were to sign Stuckey during free agency the Pistons would have a week to match the offer.
I still maintain that it would be a mistake to bring Stuckey back due to his on the court attitude that the fact that he doesn’t play like a true point. He is selfish and the Pistons already have a logjam at the shooting guard position so switching him to that position really wouldn’t be a viable option.
Goodwill finishes saying that Stuckey, who was the 14 overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft averaged 15.5 points and a career-high 5.2 assists this past season.
