Detroit Pistons second round draft pick Kyle Singler has signed with Spanish club Lucentum Alicante for the upcoming season if the NBA lockout were too wipe out the entire 2011 season.
According to the AP, Alicante announced the signing on their website Tuesday. The contract reportedly also has an out clause for Singler enabling him to return to the Pistons once the lockout is over.
Alicante plays in Spain’s top professional league.
