ESPN was even forced to make some adjustments to their telecast. In the second half we saw the scoring graphic scroll. Perhaps a first for a World Cup broadcast?
Then there’s Michael Ballack who was happy as ever seeing Brazil get throttled. Remember it was a Ballack led German team that lost to Brazil 2-0 in the 2002 World Cup final.
