Pending rape cases don’t seem to worry Derrick Rose

Derrick Rose

Derrick Rose is in for quite an interesting finale to 2016 that will have zero to do with what he does on the basketball court for the New York Knicks.

Today, Rose learned that 2013 allegations in which he’s accused of drugging and gang rapping a woman have morphed their way into a trial which will take place later this year. TMZ first broke the story in which the woman, who’s only being identified as a former girlfriend (Jane Doe) of Rose claims she was pressured into masturbating in front of him, wanted her to allow him to have sex with her friends and allow group sex with strangers.

When it came to the actual rape, Jane Doe alleges she was slipped a drug at Rose’s Beverly Hills home before escaping only to have her apartment broken into by Rose and his two friends Ryan Allen and Randall Hampton.

The plaintiff says she escaped the house with a friend, but later that night, Rose and his friends broke into her apartment and gang raped her while she was incapacitated. She says she remembers only “flashes” of the incident, but can remember the defendants forcibly raping her.

Despite the outcome of said trial which the accuser is seeking unspecified damages, Rose is claiming that he’s innocent and that he “ain’t do anything wrong”.

“I can’t think about a case that I feel like I’m innocent in, where I feel like I ain’t do anything wrong. Like I said. And I can’t let that distract me with the year I have ahead of me.”
