Indiana’s Paul George suffered a horrific leg injury during last night’s Team USA Blue/White scrimmage from Chicago that brings back recent hard memories of Kevin Ware.
The injury occurred when George came down on the bottom of a stanchion snapping the lower half of his leg in two as he was contesting a fast break layup from James Harden.
It was extremely hard to watch and the game was called right after the injury.
Obviously George is going to be out of action for some time including missing all of the 2014-15 season with the Indiana Pacers.
George tweeted the following after the injury:
