The Padres made the PR move Saturday during the MLB Draft when they took Cleveland Browns QB Johnny Manziel in the 28th round.

Yeah this isn’t out of the ordinary to draft an NFL player in the later rounds of the MLB Draft considering many have played both. We recently saw it with another high profile QB in Russell Wilson. However the different between Wilson and Manziel is Wilson actually played baseball in college. Manziel was officially listed in the MLB Draft as a shortstop for the Aggies despite never playing an inning for them.
