The Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin bullying saga is suppose to come to an end this week when NFL investigator Ted Wells releases what he found to be happening between the two former Dolphins teammates.

Martin ultimately left the team back in October after reportedly being subjected to an unhealthy atmosphere of bullying led by the veteran Incognito who was believed to be the villain in the whole matter. This especially became the case when voice mails released by ESPN reveal racist and profane language by Incognito including threats against Martin’s family. Martin even went on the Today Show last week to reiterate his stance that the bullying he received from his Dolphins teammates were racial and personal.

Tuesday The Big Lead obtained over 1,000 text messages allegedly exchanged between Martin and Incognito between October 2012 and November 2013 shortly after Martin left the team. The messages though read like any friendship between two young NFLers with plenty of money in the bank… hookers, drugs, frat boy humor and video games. Nothing I guess too out of the ordinary and not something you’d think could be construed as bullying.

Then again this is just another angle to the story so who really knows at this point. It doesn’t however really explain the Joe Philbin and front office angle where they ask Incognito to toughen up Martin.
