In what has to be one of the most awkward moments in sports, former Michigan head coach Rich Rodriguez took part in an interview with new Michigan head coach Brady Hoke.
Rich Rodriguez, who was let go from his head coaching duties with Michigan earlier in the month of January signed on to do national signing day coverage with CBS Sports.
I am in no way whatsoever a Rich Rodriguez supporter or fan. In fact I think I have been one of his biggest critics, especially here on The Majors BUT what CBS did here is absolutely ridiculous. It was extremely unfair to Rich Rodriguez and a position he should have never been put in not to mention this was also very awkward for Brady Hoke as well.
CBS definitely could have taken steps to avoid something like this. Rich Rodriguez and Brady Hoke didn’t deserve this one on one on national television.
