North Carolina reached the top of the ceiling or roof or whatever height you wanted to draw a parallel to after the Tar Heels disposed of Gonzaga tonight by a final of 71-65 to win the National Championship.

But despite winning their sixth title, North Carolina looked like shit offensively, in fact both teams did.
The difference in this game could have come if the Zags made their open shots but both squads shot under .40o for the game with Gonzaga hitting .339 from the field while the Tar Heels followed up with a .356 mark. Luckily for UNC their abysmal shooting percentage from beyond the arc (4/27, .148) didn’t come back to haunt them.
Nonetheless, the East coast still rules college basketball while Gonzaga is still that team that can’t really beat elite teams.
