Daniel Bryan has decided to call it a career, and that’s not part of some elaborate WWE script from the Creative Team.
According to Bryan’s own Twitter account, the veteran who first made a name for himself on the indy circuit as Bryan Danielson (his actual name), announced that due ‘medical reasons’ he would retire ‘effective immediately’ with further elaboration on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
Due to medical reasons, effective immediately, I am announcing my retirement. Tonight on Raw, I'll have a chance to elaborate. #gratitude

Bryan has been dealing with a rash of injuries since 2014 which included a tremendous loss of strength in his right arm due to a compressed nerve root in his neck. However it was a concussion he suffered earlier on in 2015 that would eventually lead to the end of his professional wrestling career.
Don’t be surprised if the WWE tries to work in some type of angle tonight during Bryan’s announcement but rest assure the former World Champions is indeed calling it quits. Not to mention I’m sure WWE would like to keep Bryan around as an everyday character given his popularity with the fans.
Nonetheless despite his short tenure in the WWE, Bryan will probably go down as one of the most popular wrestlers in WWE history, one of the most decorated being a rare Triple Crown Champion and probably a Hall of Famer.
