The NFL announced Wednesday that the League will play a regular season game in China during the 2018 season. Consequently, the Los Angeles Rams have been selected to be the home team for that game with their opponents still yet to be determined.

Kevin Patra of NFL.com, who helped deliver the ‘good news’ to Rams fans also made mention that the League is also looking into playing games in Germany for the 2017 season.

I would assume the Rams’ opponent will be another west coast team given the logistical nightmare a game in China poses to professional sports team based in the United States. Keep in mind Beijing (which is wear I assume the game will be played) is a full 12 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time and 15 hours ahead of Pacific Standard Time. Not to mention breathing the air in China is the equivalent to smoking 40 cigarettes a day… or so I hear.

Additionally the Rams were also announced as the team to take part in HBO‘s continued running headache for teams Hard Knocks

As far as that game in Germany goes. I would assume two teams from the east coast would take part.
