NFL Week 7 Recap: Justin Tucker is just a man

With week 7 almost in the bag, here’s a quick look at some of the notables from the NFL weekend!

Justin Tucker is Human

Justin Tucker is just a man… After making 222 straight extra point attempts, Baltimore place kicker missed a crucial one that ended up costing his team in the end as Ravens fell to the Saints 24-23.

His reaction is priceless too…

The Rams continue to roll

The LA Rams continued their quest for a perfect season when they easily disposed of the 49ers.

But to put things into perspective on just how dominating the Rams have been, check out this little tidbit below…

And it may get easier for the Rams going forward.

The NFL continues to serve up OT

For the seventh straight week an NFL game went to overtime when the Browns and Buccaneers gave us bonus football. This is a new record for the NFL while the Browns have been in four of those OT games themselves. That has been the most any team has played in one season since 2011 and we’re about halfway through he year.

And speaking of Its, Chandler Catanzaro delivered a 59-yard field goal to seal the win for the Bucs which in turn becomes the longest made field goal in NFL OT history.

The Arizona Cardinals’ offense is bad… I mean really bad

So how bad is really bad? Well the Cardinals have haven’t gained more than 268 yards in a game this season.

They also got stomped by the Broncos 45-10 on Thursday night football.

It’s assumed this wasn’t the original play the Bears drew up

Unfortunately for the Bears, Tom Brady is still Tom Brady and the Patriots came out of Solider Field with a 38-31 win as Chicago has now dropped two straight.

The Titans finally make their way to London

The Tennessee Titans were one of the last teams to play in London as the NFL continues to flirt with the idea of putting a team in the UK. Now only the Packers, Panthers and Eagles have yet to make their way across the Atlantic. However Philadelphia will play Jacksonville next weekend at Wembley.

The Titans also lost that voyage 20-19 to the Chargers who move to 5-2 on the season.

The Lions finally have a rushing game

One of the League’s worst rushing teams the past few seasons all of a sudden as a rushing game again. Lions rookie Kerryon Johnson ran for 158 yards in the Lions’ 32-20 win over the Dolphins on Sunday. That marked the first time that a Lions running back had multiple 100-plus yard rushing games in a season since Reggie Bush in 2013.

The Panthers were the latest team to take advantage of the struggling Super Bowl champs

What’s wrong with the Eagles? The defending Super Bowl champs are now 1-3 in their last four games with their latest loss coming after blowing a 17-point fourth quarter lead to the Panthers on Sunday to lose 21-17 and fall to 3-4 on the year.

Speaking of disappointments…

The Jaguars suck and they now have a quarterback problem that probably isn’t going to be solved anytime soon. Not that you couldn’t see this coming with Blake Bortles only that you  maybe got a bit of false hope last year when the Jags stunned many in the playoffs. Anyways, Bortles was benched for Cody Kessler who still couldn’t save Jacksonville from getting pounded by the Texans 20-7 and fall to 3-4 on the season.
