Not my best week last week. I went 9-7 and I’m now 33-15 on the season. Let’s see however how things go this week.
Carolina Panthers at Chicago Bears
Cam Newton played in some very sloppy weather last week so it’s possible he passes for 400 yards this week. After all, the Bears defense has allowed 300 yards passing in every game this year. The Bears look better than the Panthers on paper because they have Jay Cutler, Matt Forte, Julius Peppers and Brian Urlacher on defense but the Panthers will not be any kind of push over. Newton and Steve Smith should connect on a long touchdown pass but the Panthers run game will have no chance and that’s what will hurt them. I think Forte will be the difference maker for the Bears and for the game in general. The Bears win this game by 10, 27-17.
Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals have who again? I don’t even know. Cedric Benson is too busy dealing with off the field issues to focus on the field while AJ Green has nobody throwing him the ball. The Bengals defense are about to allow a ton of points. Why you ask? The Bills have put up over 30 points in every single game this year. Shit, they even came back from 21 points against the Patriots. The Bills aren’t going to lose this game but I still don’t think they’re a playoff football team.
