In the wake of the Wells Report, the NFL will suspend Patriots quarterback Tom Brady next week.
According to New York Daily News’ Gary Myers, Brady is looking at a possible two game suspension for his role in deflating footballs prior to New England’s AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts last season. Although the official length of the suspension still has yet to be determined the reigning Super Bowl MVP was making light of the situation during an appearance at Salem State University where he continued to deny any wrongdoing. Brady was also reportedly uncooperative during the Wells investigation refusing to turn over text messages and emails possibly related to deflating footballs which sounds pretty ridiculous in and of itself. Because yeah we’re still talking about deflated footballs almost four months after the Super Bowl ended.
