NFL kickers so far this weekend have gone 27 for 38 on extra-points setting a single-week record.
What’s kind of ironic is prior to this week NFL kickers were hitting the extra distance on extra-points at a 94 percent rate. Compare this to the past 20 years where they’ve hit field goals from 32-34 yards out at 93 percent and you get a perplexing set of circumstances.
NFL kickers are 27 for 38 on extra-point attempts today. Maybe going for 2 isn't such a bad idea.

Conclusively the NFL’s plan – at least for this week – for making the extra-point a non-gimme has worked. Unfortunately for League which currently has just 11 of 32 teams above .500 and we have another example illustrating just how bad the product has been in 2016.
