Charlotte Bobcats owner and former NBA great Michael Jordan has come under fire in recent days after leading a group of hardline NBA owners looking to reduce the players’ share of basketball related income from 57 percent under the previous deal to 47 percent.

Some current players have begun to label Jordan as a ‘hypocrite’ given he made close to $30 million dollars in his final season with the Bulls and told Wizards owner Abe Pollin during the last lockout in 1998, “If you can’t make a profit, you should sell your team.”

According to CBSSports.com, a series of locked out players have taken to Twitter expressing their displeasure of Jordan’s stance.
“I’m not wearing Jordans no more,” Wizards guard Nick Young said on Twitter. “Can’t believe what I just seen and heard from MJ. Elvis Done Left The Building.”

“Damn MJ. That’s how you feel?,” Pacers guard Paul George tweeted.

Warriors rookie Klay Thompson replied to George, “You think the 1996 MJ would pull this? Straight hypocrite bro.”

George agreed: “Man straight hypocrite bro.. He should’ve been the 1st one behind us smh.”
