According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, no less than 17 teams were at Terrelle Pryor’s pro-workout on Saturday. Among the number of teams that have already been linked to Pryor you can add the Chiefs, Patriots, Saints, Eagles, Chargers, 49ers and Lions to the mix.
Obviously the Lions spark a lot of interest with us here in Detroit, however what would the Lions do with a guy like Terrelle Pryor?
In addition to working out as a quarterback, Pryor has also been showcasing his wide receiving skills which is where the Lions begin to garner some interest in the former Ohio State standout.
Columnist Rob Parker also touched on the Lions interest in Terrelle Pryor as a receiver during his appearance on WDIV’s Sports Final Edition Sunday night.
Despite Terrelle Pryor’s bad off-field decision-making at Ohio State, there is no denying his athletic ability. Now beyond Calvin Johnson, Nate Burleson and Titus Young the Lions’ fourth wide receiver is still up in the air. Pryor could be worth a shot if they get him late and I mean late in the supplemental draft.
