In the light of a flurry of racial tension on the University of Missouri campus, University system president Tim Wolfe has finally decided to resign.

Additionally, the resignation of Wolfe comes just a couple of days after several members of the Mizzou football team threatened to not play this Saturday against BYU while garnering full support from head coach Gary Pinkel. This also comes after an ongoing hunger strike by University of Missouri grad student Jonathan Butler and a possible $1 million dollar penalty if the team didn’t play Saturday.
