Terrance Williams β the 6-foot-6, 215-pound power forward out of Washington D.C. β has gotten his fair share of attention at the Peach Jam this past weekend, some of which has come from new Michigan head coach Juwan Howard and assistant Phil Martelli.
So much attention in fact the Wolverines have offered the 2020 four-star prospect a chance to play in Ann Arbor.
β(July) is going to be a very busy month for us,β Howard said. βMe and my staff will be out (on the road recruiting). In LA, the Adidas Gauntlet tournament. Weβll be out there in Anaheim watching that. Thereβs the Peach Jam, Nike is holding a big event that theyβve put on for many years. A lot of talented ball players go out there and compete in that. The Peach Jam is also located in Augusta, Georgia, let me not forget to say that. Thereβs another event held in Atlanta, and weβve got pretty lucky with that one. Thereβs a tournament that Under Armour is hostingβ¦ Itβs going to be a very busy time.β
Although the Wolverines havenβt been among Williamsβ top schools, Stock Risersβ Jake Weingarten tweeted today that the No. 82 ranked (per 247Sports) prospect has added Michigan to his final list of schools.
Securing Williams would be the second big get for Juwan Howard after nailing down top-50 prospect Franz Wagner, brother of former Wolverine Moritz Wagner.
