Yesterday, Michigan State was able to hand out 21 scholarships and had one preferred walk on for college football’s national signing day.

To wrap things up yesterday, Michigan State was also able to add Fou Fonoti out of the California junior college system. Fonoti is a 6-foot-5, 295 pound offensive lineman who, upon his arrival in East Lansing this fall, could be the starting left offensive tackle. This is according to Greg Johnson of the Grand Rapids Press.

“We waited on him to the last day, so he’s obviously a pretty special player when you do that,” Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio said Wednesday.

Dantonio also feels pretty confident going into next season stating that he believes that this year’s recruiting class could be the best of his 5 recruiting classes at MSU.
