Michigan made jump in all three polls after their 31-14 victory over Illinois on Saturday.
Sitting at 8-2, Michigan is now ranked #18 in the BCS standings, #20 in the AP poll and #18 in the USA Today coaches poll.
Michigan jumped ahead of Penn State in all three polls after Penn State fell to Nebraska this weekend. In state rival Michigan State is currently the highest ranked team in all three polls as well.
LSU, Oklahoma State and Alabama hold the top three spots in the BCS standings.
Up next for Michigan is Nebraska who visits the Big House at 12PM ET this Saturday.
