Michigan football head coach Brady Hoke completed a busy Saturday with getting three more verbal commitments. This is
Matt Wile, a kicker from San Diego California, told U-M officials that he was coming to the University. This was first reported by TheWolverine.com and MGoBlue.com.
Michigan started to pursue Wile after another top kicking recruit Matt Goudis withdrew his commitment from Michigan to instead attend Miami (FLA).
According to Snyder Wile attended San Diego Francis Parker High School and was originally recruited by Brady Hoke’s staff at San Diego State. Wile stands 6-foot-2, 210 pounds and was also being recruited by Nebraska and Air Force.
Snyder says that Wile now joins Highland Park defensive back Raymon Taylor who also committed to the University of Michigan. Taylor is a 5-foot-10, 175-pound four-star prospect who originally committed to Indiana.
Finally Michigan also got a commitment from Keith Heitzman, a 6-foot-3, 237-pound defensive end from Hilliard (Ohio) Davidson. Heitzman is a three star recruit who originally committed to Vanderbilt.
Brady Hoke and the University of Michigan now has a total of 14 commitments.
