The U.S. media descended upon Sochi this week to find some hilarious amenities within their hotel rooms, an opportunity to get to know your peers through trade, obstacles in streets and plenty more fun and excitement!
Here, reporter Bonnie Ford came back to her hotel room to find the door open. Apparently the TV installation guys came in and forgot to shut the door behind them.

Meanwhile Dan Wetzel of Yahoo! Sports has a very lucrative offer out there for those without light bulbs (which I hear is a pretty common problem in the Sochi rooms). Three light bulbs for a single door handle. Sounds like a bargain to me!

And please whatever you do don’t flush the toilet for god sakes!
People have asked me what surprised me the most here in Sochi. It's this. Without question … it's … THIS. pic.twitter.com/1jj05FNdCP

It also looks like Sochi has imported their water from Chernobyl.
Water restored, sorta. On the bright side, I now know what very dangerous face water looks like. #Sochi #unfiltered pic.twitter.com/sQWM0vYtyz

Also while your trying to avoid the kidnappings take to the streets! Hopefully you can lose them while avoiding the open manhole covers! Remember they’re just as much of a danger for them as they are for you.
Watch your step @Sochi2014 — I've noticed on walkway and on sidewalks that not all man holes are always covered. pic.twitter.com/a5Nv4wu5iA
