University of Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk has shown the college football world how to lose your scholarship in nine total seconds. “The Mauk Method” is so astoundingly efficient that you have to check it out!

We here at the Majors Sports Network apologize for the horrible vertical cell phone video. Whomever shot it obviously wasn’t a film student at Mizzou. The video seemingly shows Missouri Quarterback Maty Mauk snorting a line of cocaine. Now, you can never confirm for certain that the person in the video is indeed Matty Mauk or what he snorted was cocaine, but it sure looks like both of those things are true.
The University of Missouri quickly responded by suspending Maty Mauk promptly.

This latest suspension comes on the heals of Maty Mauk being suspended twice during the 2015 season. Mauk was suspended in November for an altercation that he allegedly started at a bar in Columbia, Missouri, which cost him the final four games, where Missouri went 1-3, failing to score more than 2o-points each game. He was also suspended for a month at the end of September for undisclosed reasons.
While the school cannot comment about much or the status of Mauk’s scholarship officially, it’s hard to believe after this incident that they keep him around.
Maty Mauk will be a Senior this upcoming season. He has passed for 4,373 total yards in his career, including 42 touchdowns and 19 interceptions. He only threw for 654 yards in 2015 while completing only 51.8 percent of his passes with six touchdowns and four interceptions.
Sophomore Drew Lock seems to be the heir apparent if Mauk either loses his job or is kicked off the team. Lock threw for 1,332 yards with four touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2015, while completing only a dismal 49 percent of his passes.
Missouri does have 3-star quarterback Micah Wilson from Tulsa, Oklahoma as a verbal commitment for the 2016 class. If he doesn’t play right away and the team decides to go a different direction than Lock or Mauk, redshirt junior Eddie Printz and redshirt sophmore Marvin Zanders will likely compete for the job.
