Matt and Jeff Hardy threw the pro wrestling world a curve ball Saturday night appearing at the Ring of Honor Manhattan Mayhem VI show and winning the tag titles off the Young Bucks.
In the aftermath of the match from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, Matt Hardy announced that the Hardy’s signed with Ring of Honor.

The speculation up until last night was the Hardy’s were in negotiations with WWE after their sudden departure from IMPACT Wrestling.

Those ‘preliminary talks’ could very well still be ongoing as Matt Hardy was very specific in his promo about their upcoming schedule with Ring of Honor. According to Hardy the duo will be at the ROH PPV next week, the TV taping the week after and the “Supercard of Honor XI” show on April 1st. This stop in Ring of Honor could very well just be a hold over until a deal with WWE is reached.
In any sense the Ring of Honor tag titles is just another notch on the belt for the legendary tag team.
