Running back Mark Ingram and some of his Saints teammates have been enjoying the offseason across the pond in London, taking in the sights, enjoying the people and apparently checking out some of the nightclubs a worldly city like the UK capital has to offer. However one night the group was met with some unfortunate stereotyping and racism when they were allegedly turned away from the Cirque Le Soir nightclub for being ‘six big guys’ who looked ‘too urban’.
I have a story for y'all!! Me and my bros @SterlingMoore @TheVonnBell7 @OhGi_3Dawg3 @burtleyc @Flintsbadguy are in London having good time

I've been enjoying incredibly diverse culture in Ashbourne learning a historic game called Shrovetide football and everyone has been amazing

They’re in London, sadly, getting the same BS they get back home. ☹ https://t.co/2ZiKbpdrE7

This isn’t shocking considering the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union in some part because they’re scared of immigrants and I’m not even generalizing. I’m aware there’s a lot of good people in the UK and as a whole it’s a great country. However when you hear about shit like this you once again can’t be surprised given what has happened over the past year and a half.
In any case like that one Twitter user suggested, this is probably some of the same BS they’ve had to deal with back home, again considering the United States managed to elect a fucking clown bent on promoting fear and backwards nationalism. Essentially the same rhetoric that led to Brexit in the UK.
