Lucas Raymond is so hot right now, scoring in his fourth consecutive game with tonight’s tally coming in overtime as the Detroit Red Wings defeated the Calgary Flames 2-1 from the LCA.
Raymond and the Wings were able to win their second straight and third in four games taking advantage of the power play in overtime to seal the victory.
DeBrincat got the scoring started for Detroit in the first period as he lit the lamp for ninth goal of the season while Cam Talbot made 24 saves for his sixth win of the season.
Another bright spot for Detroit tonight is the defense was once again very good allowing just a single goal tonight and six over their last four games. All of this coming after Detroit allowed a staggering 15 goals over three games during their West Coast swing earlier in the month.
