After going 10-6 in 2012 with the Chicago Bears, head coach Lovie Smith was shown the door and subsequently took a year off to re-charge his batteries.
Now, he’s ready to get back into the game and was interviewed by the Houston Texans for their vacant head coaching position according to the Houston Chronicle.
You have to think that a defensive minded team would love a defensive minded head coach like Smith. Either way though this is probably the first of many interviews Smith will get. Especially with the potential coaching turnaround we could see this offseason.
