According to Greg Gabriel of NFPost.com and 670theScore.com out of Chicago, the Lions may give New York Giants assistant GM Kevin Abrams an interview for their own front office vacancy.
Look for Giants assistant GM Kevin Abrams to be interviewed for Detroit GM job
— Greg Gabriel (@greggabe) January 3, 2016
Abrams has served for 14 seasons as the Giants assistant GM. He’s also a former Lions second round draft pick back in 1997 having played corner for the team up until the 2000 season.
Of course this is only a rumor and should only be taken as such. However you can probably bet any candidate can probably help their chances of landing the job if they like Jim Caldwell.
