Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed wasn’t short on running his mouth before last night’s game between NFC North rivals Green Bay and Detroit.
The shit talk started back in early October when Reed was a guest on Amon-Ra St. Brown’s podcast, where the Packers wideout made mention of Amon-Ra “wanting to be a Packer” while vowing to dance in Detroit when Green Bay traveled to Ford Field later in the season. Reed finished running his mouth saying “Wait until I come to Detroit”.
Well, Green Bay’s visit to Ford Field came and went last night, and despite the Lions coming out on top 34-31 thanks to a last-second field goal from Jake Bates and some massive balls from Dan Campbell, Jayden Reed was pretty nonexistent when it came to the stat sheet, a feature that Jameson Williams didn’t gloss over.
Reed tried to clap back at the Lions’ second-year wideout. However, Jamo posterized Jayden one more time in response.
Needless to say, there was plenty of disappointment all around last night for Green Bay…
