The Lions will be without defensive back Quandre Diggs who suffered a broken hand during this past weekend’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys. And to add to the shit pile that has been the Detroit defense these first few weeks of the NFL season, there’s not timetable for his return.
#Lions S Quandre Diggs who left Sunday’s loss to the #Cowboys early with an injury, suffered a fractured bone in his hand, source said. It’s not clear how much time he’ll miss.

The loss will hurt the Lions who despite their 1-3 record have done well against the pass falling in second to the Jacksonville Jaguars for the least amount of yardage allowed through the air at 171.8 YPG. Likewise this could be a big detriment to the rush defense which is the worst in the League allowing 157.8 YPG.
Diggs headed into 2018 having signed a $20.4 million extension this past offseason. In the meantime, Tracy Walker will more than likely see an increased workload with Diggs on the shelf.
