After a 2013 season in which Delmas had a career-high 3 INTs, his release seemed almost certain given Detroit’s cap problems and his (Delmas) inability to stay healthy. Since being drafted in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft out of Western Michigan Delmas started in just 64 games for the team.
