As it stands, the NFL has the choice between the Lions, Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, or Las Vegas Raiders given those are the scheduled home opponents for the Eagles in 2025.

The Lions and Eagles would be the heavyweight matchup lost this past season after the Commanders walked into Ford Field in the Divisional Round and upset the No. 1 seed.

Amon-Ra added that a Lions/Eagles season opener would give the NFL world a glimpse of what a healthy Detroit defense could do against the defending Super Bowl Champions.

“You would see, with our healthy defense, how that shit operates,” the wideout said.

Detroit suffered numerous injuries this past season and by the time the playoffs rolled around the Lions were already without key pieces on the defense, including Aidan Hutchinson, Carlton Davis, Marcus Davenport, Alim McNeill, and Malcolm Rodriguez.
