LeBron James was a man on fire last night against the Charlotte Bobcats putting down 61 points in a 124-107 Miami win. This was good for a new career-high eclipsing the 56 points he scored against the Raptors in 2005 and setting a new Heat mark overtaking Glen Rice’s previous high of 56 points as well.
At the end of the third quarter LeBron was 17 of 24 from the field and still perfect from three point range.
In terms of the Jordan comparison though, LeBron isn’t that far off. Jordan’s career high of 69 was set on March 29th, 1990 against Cleveland.
