Former NBAer Lamar Odom is currently fighting for his life as a result of an overdose at a Nevada brothel where he was found unconscious. Details surrounding the events leading up to Odom’s overdose remained sketchy until earlier on Wednesday when it was revealed the Kardashian’s could have played a part in Odom’s continued demise and current state. That’s right, according to TMZ, Odom’s drug fueled bender may be a result of how he was portrayed on an episode of Keeping up with the Kardashians:
Lamar seemed normal during his stay until he got a call from someone about the show. Some of the women who were around Lamar say he became irate, complaining about the way he had just been portrayed on the show.
As for what was on the show … Khloe got 2 calls from Lamar. When she got off the phone Kim criticized Khloe for being flirty with Lamar. In another clip, Lamar called Khloe to tell her that his good friend Jamie had died. When she got off the phone she worried Lamar might spin out of control. And in another scene Khloe fled a club after she heard Lamar was trying to get in.
We’re told Lamar remained upset until he was found unconscious.
Khloe Kardashian and Odom were separated for a while before finally getting divorced papers signed this summer.
However Lamar going off the wall because of a Kardashians episode isn’t even the most disturbing aspect of this dire situation for Odom. According to Radar Online, in typical Kardashian fashion Khloe along with Kim and head pimp Kris showed up to the hospital… with television cameras.
“It’s [a] s**t show,” a source close to the situation told Radar. “The Kardashians are trying to run everything. They walked into the hospital with cameras rolling. It was shocking, but hardly a surprise.”
Khloe was “extremely upset,” the source told Radar,” adding that “they are all crying and pretending like they care.
You’d have to think that in some sense the Kardashian’s care about Odom and they aren’t totally soulless. I mean Khloe was at one point married to Lamar and now the guy is essentially on his death-bed and hooked up to a ventilator. Not to mention if he does come out of it, he’ll surely suffer some extent of brain damage. Needless to say still showing up with television cameras to film someone dying of a drug overdose is about as shallow and heartless as you can get… however totally expected from a family like the Kardashians.
