Never one to pull any punches, Keith Olbermann (an ESPN employee once again) took shots at NASCAR for their ‘tone-deaf’ response to the Kevin Ward Jr/Tony Stewart sprint car incident Saturday that resulted in Ward’s death.
Here’s the initial tweets from NASCAR and Olbermann’s response.
A shameful tweet: RT @NASCAR With heavy hearts, we turn our attention to today's #CheezIt355. #NASCAR Countdown begins now on @ESPNNASCAR

If @NASCAR wants to run anyway today I can't argue against it. Death is part of their business. But spare us the "so we move on" BS.

Olbermann then took on some of the fans who didn’t agree with him being critical. In some cases Olbermann went all Keith Olbermann on them which is very entertaining.
So, #NASCAR fans: Still defending this tone-deaf, shameful, insensitive tweet now that @Nascar has deleted it? http://t.co/WM8W2zkU4X

My personal favorite was Olbermann responding to someone pointing out the recent suspensions made by ESPN regarding controversial tweets. Olbermann seemed un-phased.
