Kanye rushes the Grammy stage again in the name of Beyoncé

In a move that earned him great ire from the American public back in 2009, made him somewhat of an endearing figure for about five seconds until he decided to open his mouth.

During last night’s Grammy’s, Kanye rushed the stage yet again this time appearing to begin and interrupt Beck who was accepting the award for album of the year. Except before going for the mic Yeezus smiled and went back to his seat garnering a chuckle from the crowd.

Hell even Jay-Z was amused after an initial look of horror.

Unfortunately though, Kanye was genuine in his ass-clownery last night as he told E! last night after the show stating he didn’t say anything out of respect for his wife, daughter and… clothing line.

Yeah you can’t make this stuff up…

The Grammys, if they want real artists to come back, they need to stop playing with us. We ain’t gonna play with them no more. Flawless, Beyoncé video, and Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé.

And at this point, we tired of it because what happens is, when you keep on diminishing art, and not respecting the craft, and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you’re disrespectful to inspiration. And we as musicians have to inspire people who go to work every day and they listen to that Beyoncé album, they feel like it takes them to another place, then they do this whole promotional event that, they’ll run the music over somebody’s speech, the artist, because they wanted commercial advertising.

And by the way, I got my wife, I got my daughter, and I got my clothing line, so I’m not gonna do nothing to put my daughter at risk, but I am here to fight for creativity. That’s the reason I didn’t say anything tonight. But y’all know what it meant when ‘Ye walks on that stage.

This whole rant also came after he ripped off the E! logo from the microphones saying that E! ‘needed y’all’ in reference to the post show hosts on the network.

My question though is where was Kanye rushing the stage in defense of ‘creativity’ during the Sam Smith acceptance speeches considering a percentage of his (Smith’s) album sales are going to Tom Petty after Smith ripped him off?
