Jordan Spieth won the 2015 Masters becoming only the second youngest player at 21-years behind Tiger Woods to accomplish this feet. However Spieth’s age alone was just part of what was truly impressive about his record setting performance over the weekend.
First Spieth finished 18-under par (270), four strokes ahead of second place finishers Justin Rose and Phil Mickelson who settled at 14-under.
Second, the 21-year old had the lowest 36 and 54 holes on record while tying the lowest 72-holes 18-under originally set by Tiger Woods back in 1997.
Finally, Spieth had the most birdies in the tournament with 28 eclipsing Phil Mickelson who previously held the high mark with 25.
