The Sixers went into Boston on Christmas Day and stunned the Celtics 118-114.
Joel Embiid, who fell during pregame warmups and seemingly injured his ankle in the process still started the game, played 31 minutes, and accounted for 27 points and nine rebounds as the Sixers handed the Celtics their first consecutive loss of the season.
Embiid let the Celtics fans have it too as the Sixers star taunted and trolled Boston as the seconds ticked away in the fourth quarter.
Kristap Porzingis misses the second half
Celtics big man Kristap Porzingis didn’t return for the second half after suffering an ankle injury. Boston’s next matchup comes this Friday when they host the Pacers from the Garden.
